CYBER SECURITY AND MOBILE APPLICATIONS
Abstract
Abstract: The rapid growth of mobile applications has transformed communication, business operations, education, healthcare, banking, and entertainment. Smartphones have become an essential part of daily life, leading to increased dependence on mobile applications. However, the widespread use of mobile apps has also created significant cyber security challenges. Mobile devices store sensitive personal and financial information, making them attractive targets for cybercriminals. Threats such as malware, phishing attacks, data breaches, ransomware, and unauthorized access have increased substantially. This research paper examines the relationship between cyber security and mobile applications, identifies major security threats, analyzes user awareness regarding mobile security, and suggests effective measures for protecting mobile applications and users. The study highlights the importance of secure application development, user education, and advanced security technologies in maintaining a safe mobile ecosystem.
