EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT MODELS AND THEIR LINK TO PRODUCTIVITY IN HYBRID WORKPLACES
Abstract
Abstract: The emergence of hybrid workplaces has transformed organizational structures, employee behavior, and management practices worldwide. Hybrid work combines remote and in-office working arrangements, offering employees flexibility while maintaining organizational collaboration. This research paper examines major employee engagement models and analyzes their relationship with employee productivity in hybrid work environments. The study explores theoretical foundations, factors influencing engagement, organizational challenges, and strategies for improving productivity through effective engagement practices. Secondary data from journals, reports, and recent studies have been used to evaluate the impact of engagement on organizational performance. Findings indicate that employee engagement significantly improves productivity, innovation, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction in hybrid workplaces. Effective leadership, communication, technological support, and work-life balance are identified as key determinants of successful engagement strategies.
