Abstract

Abstract: Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) has undergone significant transformation with the rapid development of digital technologies. In the digital era, organizations increasingly depend on technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), cloud computing, data analytics, automation, and digital communication platforms to manage their workforce effectively. Traditional HR functions such as recruitment, training, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, and workforce planning are becoming more data-driven, technology-enabled, and strategically integrated with organizational objectives. This research paper examines the role of Strategic Human Resource Management in the digital era, focusing on digital recruitment, people analytics, employee development, performance management, remote work, employee engagement, and emerging challenges. The study also highlights the opportunities and limitations associated with digital HR transformation. The findings suggest that effective integration of digital technologies with human-centered HR practices can improve organizational agility, employee productivity, decision-making, and long-term competitiveness.
