THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN TRANSFORMING HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Abstract
Abstract: In today’s competitive industrial environment, organizations increasingly rely on data-driven decision-making to enhance growth and operational efficiency. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative tool, enabling faster and more accurate execution of tasks across various functional areas, including Human Resource Management (HRM), finance, marketing, and production. This study aims to examine the role of AI in HRM and identify the challenges associated with its implementation. The research is descriptive in nature and is based on secondary data collected from research papers, academic publications, websites, and staff blogs. The findings reveal that AI plays a significant role in improving HR functions such as recruitment, employee management, and data analysis. AI-powered systems and robotics help reduce manual workload, enhance efficiency, and support informed decision-making within organizations. However, the study also highlights challenges such as implementation complexity, ethical concerns, and the need for human oversight. Overall, the research concludes that AI has a wide-ranging impact on HRM, contributing to increased productivity and organizational effectiveness, while emphasizing the importance of balancing technological advancement with human involvement.
