TRIPLE NEXUS: EQUITY, DIVERSITY, AND SUSTAINABILITY IN POLICY AND PRACTICE
Abstract
This paper explores the interdependent relationship among equity, diversity, and sustainability—three critical pillars increasingly recognized as fundamental to resilient and inclusive policy-making. While each concept has distinct roots, their convergence—the "Triple Nexus"—presents a powerful framework for rethinking policy and practice in governance, urban planning, education, environmental management, and social development. Drawing on global case studies, theoretical analysis, and policy evaluation, this paper examines how integrating the Triple Nexus can address complex challenges such as climate justice, economic inequality, and cultural representation. It also identifies barriers to integration and provides recommendations for effective implementation across sectors. Keywords: Triple Nexus, Equity, Diversity, Sustainability, Public Policy, Intersectionality, Climate Justice, Inclusive Development, Governance, Resilience
