EFFECTIVENESS OF MODULE IN TERM OF ACHIEVEMENT OF PEDAGOGY OF MATHEMATICS FOR B.Ed. STUDENTS OF INDORE
AbstractThe literal meaning of mathematics is “things which we can count” by this we can understand the importance of mathematics in day-to-day life. The present study aims to acknowledge and importance of modules in teaching pedagogy of mathematics in education. The objective of the study was to compare mean scores of achievements of pedagogy of mathematics of B.Ed. students taught through modules and traditional methods. The hypothesis was there is no significant difference between mean scores of pedagogy of mathematics of B.Ed. students taught through modules and traditional methods. 105 students were randomly selected for the sample. Data was analyzed with the help of a t-test. Of B.Ed. colleges of DAVV Indore were purposely selected for the sample. The research found that the module is more effective than the traditional method for teaching the pedagogy of mathematics. Keywords: Module, Achievement, Traditional method, Students.
