Abstract

Load balancing is a critical component of cloud computing infrastructure that ensures efficient resource utilization, high availability, and reliability of cloud services. Ant colony optimization (ACO) is a powerful optimization algorithm that can be used to solve load balancing problems in cloud computing. This paper provides an overview of load balancing in cloud computing, the ACO algorithm, and its implementation in load balancing. We also review the literature on load balancing in cloud computing, previous studies on ACO, and compare the performance of ACO with other load balancing algorithms. The paper concludes by highlighting future directions for research in load balancing in cloud computing.
